What a project is
A project holds everything for one job: the drawings, the Categories they sit in, every marker group, zone, scale and database link. The Excel export covers one project at a time, so keep one project per tender or per site.
The Projects page is where you land after signing in. Click Projects in the sidebar to return to it from anywhere.
Table or cards
The page lists projects as a table by default. To switch, click Actions at the top right, open Toggle Layout and choose Table or Cards . Your choice is remembered on this browser.
Table gives you search, sorting, filters and the Actions column. Cards shows the same details as tiles but has no action buttons, so open the project and use its Actions menu instead.
The columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The project name. Click it to open the project. Avatars beside the name show who else is in it. |
| Client | The client entered when the project was created, or a dash. |
| Type | The project type as a small pill, or a dash. |
| Description | The description, trimmed to two lines. |
| Created | The creation date as DD/MM/YYYY. |
| Last Updated | The date and time of the last change to the project details, as DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM. Projects that have never been changed show a dash. |
| Status | New Active Complete or Archived. See Project statuses. |
| Actions | Three icon buttons: Duplicate , Export Job (coming soon) and Archive or Recover . |
Use View at the right of the toolbar to change the row height or hide columns.
Searching, filtering and sorting
- Type in Search projects... to filter the list as you type. The search matches any column.
- Click Type or Status to filter by project type or status. Reset clears every filter.
- Click a column header and choose Asc or Desc . The list starts sorted by Created, newest first.
Archived projects and presence
Archived projects are hidden until you turn on Show archived projects under User Preferences → Appearance. See Archiving and recovering a project.
When a colleague is inside a project, a round avatar with their initial appears next to its name, or at the bottom of its card. Hover it to see who. Nothing appears for your own sessions.
Next steps
Start with Creating a project, then read Project statuses to understand how New, Active and Complete are worked out. Once a project exists, Uploading drawings is the next job.
