The Templates section
Most estimating work repeats itself. The same set of marker groups on every floor plan, the same zones on every level of a building, the same areas of interest on every sheet from one drawing office. Templates let you set that up once and reuse it on any drawing, and Custom Items give your company its own priced line items to link to those groups.
Everything in this section is company-wide. A template saved by one person in your company is available to everyone else, and deleting one removes it for everyone.
Finding the Templates section
With no drawing open, the left navigation shows Projects and a collapsible Templates group. Click the Templates row to expand or collapse it (the chevron rotates); it does not open a page itself. Inside are four entries:

| Zones | Reusable collections of polygon zones that split a drawing into counted regions. |
| AoIs | Reusable Areas of Interest that focus detection on parts of a drawing. |
| Custom Items | Company-wide priced items you can link to marker groups, alongside the component catalogue. |
There is also a hub page, reached from the Dashboard › Templates breadcrumb at the top of any template page, that shows the same four entries as cards with a one-line description under each.
Two directions
Templates travel in two directions, and each has its own article:
- Save from a drawing. Zone and AoI templates are created from a drawing you have already set up, using the AoIs, Legends & Zones dropdown in the marker sidebar. Group templates are built on their own page instead, group by group.
- Import onto a drawing. Group and zone templates are imported from the Actions menu in the workspace; zone and AoI templates can also be imported from the same sidebar dropdown that created them.
A related tool, Import from Files, copies groups, AoIs, zones and ignored colours from other drawings in the same project rather than from a saved template. It is the quickest route when the setup you want already exists on a sibling drawing.
