Deleting unwanted sections in bulk
After importing a section template or copying a job, you may find entire services or floors that are not relevant to the new project. Rather than deleting sections one by one from the takeoff screen, use the bulk delete option.

Exit the job and go to the Display Jobs screen.

Select the project, then click Delete Sections.

Highlight all the sections you want to remove and click Delete. You can select multiple sections at once.
This is far quicker than removing sections individually inside the takeoff screen, especially when you need to clear out a large number of subsections.
Duplicating sections within a job
If you need the same subsection structure repeated — for example, the same set of floors under multiple services — you do not have to recreate them manually.
Right-click the parent folder on the takeoff screen and select Duplicate. This creates an identical copy of the folder and all its children, which you can then rename as needed.
Duplicated sections include any takeoff lines that were in the original. If you only need the structure, delete the items after duplicating.
