Delete Job
The Delete Job button on the Options panel permanently deletes the selected job from the system.
This action is destructive. Recovery may be possible for cloud-based jobs depending on how recently the deletion occurred — contact the support team as soon as possible if you have deleted a job by mistake. For locally installed versions, recovery options are more limited. Only delete test jobs or jobs you are certain you no longer need. For jobs you simply want to hide from the main list, use Archive Job instead.
Archive Job
The Archive Job button moves the selected job to the archive. Archived jobs are hidden from the main job list but are not deleted — all data is preserved in full. Archiving is the recommended way to manage completed or unsuccessful tenders. It keeps your active job list clean and focused without losing any historical data.
Viewing archived jobs
To view archived jobs, change the Filter List By Archived Status drop-down at the bottom of the amend job screen from "Active" to "Archived". The job list updates to show only archived jobs.
Restoring an archived job
You can restore an archived job at any time:
- 1
Change the archived status filter to Archived to display your archived jobs.
- 2
Select the job you want to restore.
- 3
Press Archive Job again. The job is returned to the active list.
The restoration process is immediate — the job reappears in the active list with all its data intact, exactly as it was when it was archived.
Get into the habit of archiving jobs once a tender has been submitted and the outcome is known. This keeps your active list manageable and makes it easier to find the jobs you are currently working on. You can always restore an archived job if you need to revisit it.
